Sex. Have unprotected sex. Semen is a natural anti depressant that offsets the imbalance of estrogen and progesterone in the girls mind.
Genius. I actually mentioned this to my Tutor, who is a Physician:
Me: Semen, Nature’s Anti-Depressant.
Tutor: But how would you take it??
(Cue raucous laughter from entire group).
Thanks, scientists, for confirming what we all knew to be true. Getting some puts a smile on your face.
So let’s take a long story, and make it short. I love film. I have a HUGE passion for it, and it can change my mood, change my day, and I suspect, even has something to do with shaping the person I (have and) am becoming.
I always ask people what their favorite film is, and the response I receive has always been something along the lines of…
‘ummmmmm’
or alternatively:
‘well that’s one of those impossible questions to answer, isn’t it.’
People always react as if I’m asking them the meaning of life, or to recite Plato’s Laws to me in the original Ancient Greek. Funnily enough, I’ve always thought that the answers to such questions were easy, until I started dating someone who saw my passion for film, and asked me to take them through my ‘must-see’ list.
That’s when it became apparent to me, that although I could reel off a top ten list of films (in no particular order, save for my all-time-numero-uno), and run through a list of directors I adore, there are film questions that are much harder to answer.
For example, although Amelie is not my type of espresso (pardon the bastardization, I’m not a tea fan) I think it probably still qualifies as a modern-must see (although there’s a whole plethora of French films far more influential in my opinion, but we’ll get to that later).
I thought a little film challenge would be fun and informative - and everyone’s always looking for movie ideas! I’ve always shied away from writing film blogs because I know it’ll force me to devote more time to film, and with my courseload, that’s not really an option… so a film challenge is the best way forward.
Anyway, here’s the easiest of the challenges to start!

not even a little bit. I’d have to be a much better writer (and drinker) to qualify!
